It is fully adjustable so you can bring up to the max hight to 51

with the neck the max hight is 51 inches on the vanguard. But they have taller models in the same series.

That is a good tripod, and I like tamrac bags. Both should work out great for you.

Did you get a canon remote or a third party? It really is not worth 23 dollars for the canon one.

I got the canon as it wasn't a ridiculous amount me and my cousin split it since we both have canon cameras. so in a way it came out even cheaper then 23.
