Out of the 3, the Tamron is the would me my choice. Longer reach, and it is on of the best megazoom on the market. 70mm may not seem like much but between 200-and 270, it is quiet a reach actually.

Pbjunkiee, I forgot to say that the search is for a SINGLE LENS solution, comming from 18mm. It's to be a flexible camera do walk around and have it ready at any moment...

In another thread we discussed about primes, that may be useful for specific situations like indoor low light, so a lighter 50mm or a wide-angle zooms will be considered as a spare lens, but at this momento the goal is to decide the main all-purpose lens!

I surf allot, you should see my scuba forum. But I did not realize I hit 2000. wow But compare to my motorcycle forums. This is light, as motorcycles are my favorite hobby.

That is my favor hobby, I love motorcycles. Been riding for over 20 years now. Uses to race them when I was younger. Amateur in the AMA.

Pretty cool dive site, where is it at exactly. Looks like a nice dive op also. Like the power presentation of the video with the bold music. What video camera and housing was used?
