The SX210 isn't available here yet, but the SX200 is. It's around $260 here. For the Compact Zooms though, I think the ZS3 is a better deal (according the DPReview, it's the best in class: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/q209...oom/page16.asp). The H20 is in the above list just cause it's $100 cheaper...

@sarah: thanks a lot for the input, I highly value your opinions and advice here (I've been going through various threads). This pretty much steers me in the FZ35 direction

@shoturtle: Thanks for playing the compact card. It is tempting to get a smaller camera, and I'll probably look more at the ZS3 and ZS5 features, but my heart is going the FZ35 direction

The zs3 is a very good camera, and has a very nice lens on it. But any of the current ZS models will be good.

No, I don't really want to pay a premium for GPS tagging . Thing is, the ZS3 and FZ35 have the pretty much the same price, the difference between the two would be smaller size of the ZS3 vs more features of the FZ35... :O

that would make sense as you already have the lx3, as your pocket camera. The fz35 can be the one for when you need more reach.
