Default Canon, Nikon or Panasonic?

Hey all I need a little help deciding what camera I should buy. My budget is under $400 and I've been looking for a digital camera with nearly full manual controls (good images at high ISO) and great video quality. I've read a few reviews and narrowed it down to the Canon PowerShot SX20 IS, Panasonic Lumix FZ35 and Nikon P100. I know the Nikon is fairly new but I've read some good reviews about it (http://www.pocket-lint.com/review/46...-camera-review) and like the fact that it records in full HD.
Thoughts or suggestions?

panasonic fz35 is a very good camera. It has a very good IS system also. And the lens on the fz is very good. And it takes great pictures.

The P100 is new so there is still a lack of info. If it resolve the poor low light of the p90 it should be a nice megazoom.

abi621-

Welcome to the Forum. We're delighted that you dropped by.

In the in the P+S class, the king of low light capability is the Canon S-90.
It low light capability comes from its oversize image, the same imager that is used in the Canon G-11.
