Default here's an odd one

I would dearly like to buy a digicam with two strap lugs. In other words I want to be able to suspend it round the neck properly instead of fishing it out of its case or pocket.

If possible I'd like a wide lens and 4 - 5 zoom but the lugs are the priority.

I have found a few such cameras - Panasonic LX3, the Canon S90 and G11 - but they are really a bit too expensive. Does anyone know of cheaper models that fit the bill?

Any advice would be welcome.

The Panasonic FZ-35 has the required lugs and is at its lowest price since introduction right now-around $310.

Sarah,

I've now read a couple of reviews of the Panasonic fx35 and it's obviously quite a camera. However, it is rather too large for me, though I'll keep it on the reserve list if nothing more suitable turns up.

Thanks for your reply and I'll let you know how I get on.
