If capturing lots of fine detail indoors remains your goal. The Canon S90/95 or the Canon SD4000 and the Canon SX230 all remain good choices.

The SD4000 and SX230 aren't even in remotely the same class as the S90/95 and won't capture anywhere near the detail. Go ahead and post up a full-size image from either of those and I'll put up one from the S95, and then tell me they're comparable.

As for the HX5, that's the worst choice of all. The NR wipes out all fine detail much more often than not.
