I've been using the HZ15W and have found the image quality isn't as good as the SX120 but isn't that bad either. I really like the smaller size and speed of the HZ15W. A situation has arisen where I may have some rewards money at BestBuy from my daughter that will bring some other cameras into my price range. I've been reading a little about the Panasonic ZS5 and would like to know how it stacks up against the HZ15W and the SX120? Image quality, speed, size, how weak is the flash, anything else? Are there other cameras in the $300 range that it would be beneficial to check out (must be carried at Best Buy)?
You all have been a great help both directly and indirectly with all the information that is on this site. thanks.

jamelvin-

The Panasonic ZS5 is a better quality camera than your current Samsung camera. It is physically about 5 to10% larger in size, but has improved image quality and a great 25mm wide angle position on it zoom. The ZS5 is the model for 2010, and the ZS1 is the equivalent model for 2009, it too is available for around $185.00.
