Default Canon A480 -- best cheap camera?

I'm still looking for a cheap camera to take snapshots that will be reproduced in paper reports (think of it as a camera that will stay at the office only for work photos). I have come across some talk about this camera as being a good affordable camera.

I have found it at $75. Is that about what it is worth, or is it a great deal for a simple camera?

The Canon A-480 is one generation old and I believe that it does not have IS, so the $75.00 price is about right. However, I certainly do not believe it is the best "cheap" camera. Recently there were several Kodak Z-915 cameras selling for $78.00 and that camera has 10X optical zoom and IS.

Do you happen to remember where you found it at that price?

Sorry, Luke-

I do not recall where I say those.
