That's a very good point, Peter42y....I DO like the Nikon D90.
I'll take your advice and go check out the flickr groups. Thanks!
And, while I'm at it, I'm going to check out the sony nex...never heard of it...sounds interesting!!!

The sony is not out yet. It is still in a phototype phase.

Faith,

You may want to save the money on the D90 and go with a t1i or the pentax. As lenses will make way more of a difference. I you were to invest in a 50mm 1.4 with any of the camera, or the 85mm 1.8 with the canon on top of the kit lens. It will give you fantastic low light shooting ability. The D90 has a great general purpose kit lens but will not be ideal for when the light gets low.

I was helping out a music video shoot last night. They has a ef 28-135 lens. But could not get the results they wanted as the lens was not fast enough. With my ef 50 1.4 I was able to shoot some shots for them. Here is what I mean about having a fast lens for low light.
