Ordo-

Excellent example photos. In my experience you will have no real problems with the Panasonic ZS3 camera.

SirDomino-

There was not much discussion in this thread because we were working hard to sort out the problems with the SX-210. And in my personal opinion the shadow problem is really not that huge at all. It only seem to happen when taking close-up shots with flash.

I really prefer to shoot close-up shots with natural lighting. So no shadow problems doing it that way.

Thank you for the reply! Most of our shots during our vacation will be outdoors and probably shots that are at least 6 feet away. I have just never seen a camera with a "shadow problem" before, so it kind of spooked me.

I have read some people talk about the "Lens Shadow" issue of the SX2010IS and they stated that if you are taking photos that produce the shadow in the lower right corner that all you have to do is zoom in very little and it will eliminate the issue. I suppose that is a tad inconvenient but how often does one take photos that will bring up the shadow?

I suppose I will just wait until the camera arrives and spend some time taking photos and testing it out.
