Thank you to everyone who responded. I was so impressed with your kindness to help a total stranger. Thank you so much.
My husband surprised me and went out and bought me a beautiful, brand spanking new....Nikon D90. Wasn't that nice of him? SO, now it's just learning to use all it's wonderful features.

Congradulations! That's a fine camera. I've had mine for about 9 months and it has worked very well for me.

When you get a chance, please come back and post some photos!
