RioRico,

entry level grade canon dslr are really good, and can do what higher grade dslr can. The T1i can do allot, high iso, fast AF system. Also you have the largest lens selection for any entry level dslr on the market.

Every brand has pros and cons.

I really think the OP is talking about the Nikon D3000 and D5000.
