Default Samsung Dulaview??

I posted on here a few weeks back, and I pretty much decided on a Canon SX120, and I was pretty happy w/ that choice. I haven't bought a camera yet though -- and now I keep seeing commericals for the Samsung Dualview, and it looks awesome. I looked it up, and I am really liking the TL210. Anyone have any experience w/ this camera or an opinion?? I have only ever owned a Canon and Loved it. I really am liking the two LCD screens as I do take pics like that a lot, but I still want decent quality. I know I am compromising on the 10x zoom w/ the canon, but this zoom is 5x, which would be alright.

It's an ok concept though the screen is so tiny tha I am not sure how useful it would be. I think a flip-around screen would be better. Also, I have yet to be impressed by the IQ of Samsung's P&S cams. I think by next year they will probably be in the game but I don't think they're quite there yet. Just my 2 cents.

I have a flip around screen on my canon now...its a 2.0 screen, I liked it initially but if you look at the screen your eyes are off to the side which is weird! I am just really not sure about buying a Samsung, I have only ever had a Canon.

I had a camcorder with touch screen. Awful. Every time I had to use the menu, the picture shook. Now, how that translates to stills, I'm not sure. It is nice for scene selection. Just a thought. Personally, gestures on a net-book I have were another problem. If you could turn them off, then of course no issue.

Also, micro-sd. some people like to standardize their storage. I know I do. You?

Also, if you can't turn off the front display, people will be looking at it when you take pics. I don't know.

Leaving aside IQ, every p&s'er I know takes pictures of themselves. I do too. So the front LCD is a big plus. If you do that "a lot", there you go. You could always plan on a high-quality camera for later. Get this one for fun.

actually, that samsung 210 is really a pretty nice small camera. image quality is up to par with it peers, not much different, and the duel view is nice for some people's applications. and its good build quality overall. i would not be averse to shooting with one, just realize its performance is just about par for compacts which is just fine for what it does.
