Works if needed but I find incandescent usually works best. AWB works pretty well in most indoors situations also actually.

Glad to hear. Yes, I have tried the manual WB set and it works well but if you are using flash, then AUTO WB works just fine.

My first photo of a wild rabbit using ZS7. I need much more practice but it is a start.

That's an excellent shot, Warren-

Well done. And it will just continue to get better.

I agree, excellent shot Warren. Those wild bunnies are hard to get close to. OK, so it probably doesn't help that I usually have 2 big dogs with me. ;p

Thanks Sarah and FiveO Also, I can't believe how fast the ZS7 is. I had 2 rabbits running around and it took many shots to get this one.

Now that I am using my ZS7 I am wondering if it is OK to put protective plastic LCD sheets on the LCD for scratch protection. I have some PDA sheets and was wondering if they would be safe to use or is there another recommendation.

Yeah don't sweat it. I bought some 8.5x11" sheets from AC Moore about 2 years ago for $6 and have been cutting out pieces and using on all of my electronics since then. When I peel them off, the LCD screens are like new. I can't see paying $15 for a single screen protector just because they call it a "screen protector" and cut it to size.

Hey folks. Been a while since you posted here. I am looking for a good pocket zoom camera. Looks like the ZS7 is popular.
Do you still feel that way? Can you post your best pic with it?
Thanks!!
