Default buying lens before i get d90?

well for my new camera im leaning towards the nikon D90 i just want to go to B and H probably next week and try it out hopefully.
i was just looking and JR.com has the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G DSLR Lens for $186 shipped which is a good price. I was originally just going to get a nifty fifty. is it smart to buy this lens before i might be buying a body? i mean the deal expires on the 10th of june. though what if i go to the store and try out the d90 and hate it??

I would wait till you try out the camera, if the ergo and set up does not fit you. You may want to look at a different system. Unless you are absolutely sure you are going with the nikon. I would not jump the gun on getting the lens. As I have brought lenses before I pick up the body, but was absolutely certain I was going to get the camera.

If you already have a Nikon DSLR or if you are certain you are going to
buy one, go for it.

If you think that is likely to happen, then don't buy the lens.

What is JR.com's return policy and timeframe? That is your window of time to make a decision on the D90.

That's a good price, but it's not a great price. I would let it pass until I had a chance to try the Nikon body and was sure I wanted it.
