Default Underwater Camera Sought

I'm looking for a tough, point & shoot underwater camera, with an optical viewfinder and 5X optical zoom. Having trouble finding all of this in one camera. Any ideas?

Canon G11 with WP-DC34 Marine Case?...or Panasonic TS2 or Canon D10 with no view finder
You can get into $1000 of dollars for Underwater Housings and View Finders quickly...

I am a diver. Underwater photography is very specialized with a lot of differences in price depending on which level you aspire to. Please note that the point and shoots that offer "waterproof" are good only to 30 feet or less, depending on the camera. Fine for snorkling, but not for SCUBA. Try this site www.uwphotographyguide.com for some research. The above poster had it right. You can spend many thousands of dollars on high level underwater photography.

I am not sure if such a P&S camera exists ... I own Olympus Stylus 1030 SW (bought if for simple photos of my children in the swimming pool) it's a very tough camera but no 5X optical zoom or optical viewfinder and images are not as great as its rivals. Canon D10 has better imge quality but not as tough .... don't know much about Pansonic but I did not like its looks ... none of them have 5X optical zoom and optical View finder.
If you do find a Point & Shoot Underwater Camera with all those requirements do post.
Just one question though, how is 5X optical zoom going to help underwater? Because whenever I use 3X optical zoom underwater (in swimming pools, even on broad day light, with my Olympus 1030SW) the picture is hardly worth saving ... so I basically never use zoom function underwater instead I just get close to the subject.

I think your best bet for excellent underwater would be the TS2 w/o view finder...also for cheap the Sanyo E2 is OK...

I am going to use the TS1, Canon S90 and G11 this year with Marine Cases...the Canon S90 with WP-DC35 is a good option also...
