Between the Canon T2i and the Nikon D5000, the Canon is the better camera.

But in choosing from among the four bodies, the type(s) of photography you want to do will make a big difference, not to mention how important video is to you.

So, what do you want to shoot?

No, I'm sorry. The 550D goes by "T2i" in North America.

Shooting video with a dSLR is tough. It's capable of producing excellent video, but the autofocus and autoexposure aren't as good as an average consumer video camera, and the typical dSLR lenses far exceed the quality necessary to shoot video, but they don't have the zoom ratios that video camera zoom lenses have. You can get excellent results, but it will require a lot more practice, planning, effort on your part.

But based on the still images you want to shoot, the 550D is an excellent choice, and it's best at shooting video as well.

You started out looking a four bodies, and narrowed it down to the 550D. If video wasn't an issue, the D90 and the 50D would do about as well for your still images, but the 550D works almost as well, and it does video better.

one last question!
do you think that i must first of all to look what lense i want and then i decide about what body of photo camera to buy?

what lenses the body of 550D takes?only canon lenses or the 550D can take other brands?

The Canon 550D uses the Canon EF mount, so lenses from any manufacturer that makes lenses forthe EF mount will work on it. That includes Sigma, Tamron,Tokina, and some lesser brands as well.

For what you said you wanted to shoot ("I like to shoot mostly monuments and nature landscapes!also i am fun for night shooting pictures!") I think the Canon 18-55 kit lens will work well except for the night shooting. For that, you might want to look at the Canon 50mm f/1.8, the Canon 35mm f/2.0, Sigma 28mm f/1.8, Canon 50mm f/1.4, or the Sigma 30mm f/1.4.

The Canon 550D will work well with any of those.
