Canon life size converter is just what is says - an additional converter, which makes a Canon 50mm macro lens a 1:1 macro lens, without this converter the lens can only do half life-size macro. Don't know anything about the loupe though.
Lensbaby is a POS (only my very personal humble opinion :lol

Ideally get a real macro lens if you plan to do a lot of macro work. I had extension tubes but they are a bit of work to put on and take off all the time. Also a lens with real time manual focus (where you can do auto and manual focus at the same time without flipping a switch first) would be helpful.

yeah i decided to buy the 60mm usm..its the right lens for the job.i am also very much convinced to see the pictures which were taken using lensbaby composer.i dont really like to edit photos.can anyone please help me about this?is a composer difficult to use? and how are the results?
