I'm pretty sure I'll get the T1i. I like the feel of it better than the D5000, and other two will use up most of my budget before I even add another lens or flash. Does Central Digital have a good reputation? The price is considerably lower than anywhere else, which makes me a bit leery. It is a USA model, not an import.

Is the price likely to drop soon? Announcement of new models or whatever? I'm planning on getting the t1i from B&H

Also a question on memory cards. How important is class 10 vs others? Will the write speed affect fps? Or does the data pile up in the internal memory and then force you to wait while it writes everything onto the card?

Not on the canon entry level, if they announce anything. It will be on the high end and semipro models. Think the T1 and T2 are set for a while, but they will go on sale most likely in oct for the holiday season. The rumors are that there will be a 60d and 1dsmk4, but they may surprise us at photokina.

Ok. I'm not patient enough to wait until October to save some money, so I'll go ahead and order it.
