Default Which sony?please help!

hi,i am about to get a new camera, considering my budget and also the fact that "i love sony" i deiced to go with sony, instead of nikon d90 or canon 550d!Now i got few kit lens options but cant decide,so i could really use some help here!

1- Sony A550 kit 18-55mm + Sony 75-300mm + Hoya 55mm UV Filter x2
2 - Sony Alpha A550 Digital SLR Camera plus 18-55mm Lens with Free 55-200mm Lens + Lowepro Fastpack

3- Sony A550 Kit 18-55mm + Sony 50mm f/1.8 + 8GB SDHC Card

They are all in my price range, and they ve all got very reasonable prices, any of these kits costs least 100 less than nikon d90,or around 200 less than canon d550,and this makes them my number one option!I personally look more positive to the number 2 but i would like to hear what pther people think too!thank you very much all!

The Sony A550 is a very good camera, but the 75-300 isn't a very good lens. The 55-200 and the 50/1.8 are both good lenses, but are intended for different purposes. So, what do you want to shoot?

As it can be seen in my flickr page too,i take photos of everything, from sunset to my pet, from flowers to portraits, and i took all my pictures with my 18-55 lens,so whatever i get will be an upgrade for me anyway!

Actually, the 18-55 is pretty good, and it's a bargain. The 55-200 compliments it well if you need something longer, and the 50/1.8 compliments it well if you need something faster. From your photostream, it seems you'd benefit from either, but I think you'd get more use out of the 50/1.8.

And if you need something longer later, Tamron's 55-200 is cheaper and optically the same lens, and it has a longer warranty (in the US anyway.) There's also the Tamron 70-300 Di LD that is longer and can do 1:2 macro as well, which I'm certain you'll also put to good use.

get option 2 and the 50 1.8. If you need macro, the tamron could be a better option then the sony 55-200

That's a nice package. The Sony 55-200 is just the Tamron with a Sony label on it, and the Sony 55-200SAM is the same lens with Sony's motor on it.

It's not much of a macro though. It only does 1:3.5 magnification, while the Tamron 70-300 Di LD I mentioned does 1:2 magnification. That is, at the 55-200's closest focusing distance, an 85mm object will fill the image, while at the 70-300's closest focusing distance, a 50mm object will fill the image.

what should i get then?if tamron 55-200 is exactly the same as sony i might as well get the tamron and spend the rest of the money on the 50 mm,i can always get a bag!so should i get the 70-300 or 50-200 tamron?i like taking close up pictures,so macro would be nice!i read online about tamron,55-200 has got way better reviews than 70-300,so cant decide!
but briefly you say

Sony A550 Kit with 18-55mm lens + Tamron 55-200mm f4-5.6 Di II LD Macro Lens + Sony DT 50mm f/1.8 SAM

is A GOOD combination!

if i make my mind up i will actually buy it tonitemight come before the wekend!

btw picture quality is more important to me than macro,i can take close up pictures with anything!
