what ever software you use to edit, you should be able check the exif data. The G10 is a good camera, just do not shoot past 800iso with it. If you shoot at 1600iso, you will get a very noise picture.

The Panasonic sensor at 800iso and below, is one of the best sensors on the market, and produces some fantastic photos.

That is a different story, the flash will provide enough light that the camera will uses a lower iso about 400. And the sensor has no problems what so ever at that iso. It is when you are shooting out of flash range or without a flash that it becomes a problem with noise above 800iso.

Since it is night in the UK, put the camera at 1600iso and take some shots around the flat without the flash. You will get a good idea of the iso issue above 800 with the panasonic sensors.

Also the evil camera are not the best tool for action shooting. That is not one of their strong points.

no, it does not give you anything that your dslr does not have. It is not very compact camera like the GF1, it will be a daylight camera only with the noise pass 800iso.

Don't have my DSLR anymore. Sold it. Looking for a more compact camera. Thought the G1 was a good camera?
