i just recently got a kodak z915 as a camera to carry around all the time, and it's actually not bad at all. it has PASM, which means that there are settings you won't find on most cheaper or all automatic cameras. the flash is actually surprisingly good - don't shoot me, but it seems to do a better job and have better coverage than my canon 30D dslr's onboard flash did. that might help for night time shots better than higher ISO pics, which on less expensive cameras aren't all that usable.

pcake-

You made a good investment. The Z-915 can also do ISO 1600 and pull it off neatly. It is a camera, that proves to be the wonderful exception to the rule.
