Default PS......

The total weight of the Sony (560)set with the 24-70 (2.8) = 57oz
Sony with 16-80 (3.5) 40oz

Canon T2i with 15-80 (3.5) = 40oz
Canon with 17-55 (2.8) = 43oz

I'm on the verge of a decision here!!!

PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like it all boils down to which camera body I like????

If you're looking for something more comparable, the Sony paired with the Tamron 17-50/2.8 is a better comparison than with the Sony/Zeiss 24-70/2.8. That would come to 39oz.
