Ok, but the camera that had the problem was the NEW Canon SD1300is. Would that not be considered a newer camera?

Hi Todd-

I thought you were referring to your older Canon Powershot. That surprises me. Anyway, no more formatting memory cards, on your computer, OK??

Thank you again Sarah, I will use the Cameras from now on. My plan was to just wipe them and then format in the cameras. But when it would not read it at all, and the Format option was not available on the Canon until I formatted with the Kodak First.
