Question,

If I order the Pentax Kx from Amazon.com, how do I know I'm not getting a grey market, someones return, or a refurbished? (BTW, the camera is sold & ships from Amazon)
I can't find any info about USA warranty on Amazon.
I called customer service but they were no help.

Better purchase from B & H, then. However, I have never had a single problem at all with Amazon!

BTW, you might want to look at the new Pentax K-r. Basically, it's the K-x with fixes for some of the complaints that some people had with the K-x.

Oh, and it's also available in lots of colors.

No, Bracciola-

I am dead-on serious. Amazon is excellent to deal with. I have a rather long history with them. My long history is the humorous part, ha, ha, many cameras!

Thanks Sarah,

Yeah, I always buy stuff from Amazon with no problems.
I just never bought anything electronic this expensive.
Just wanted to make sure they don't sell grey market cameras.

Anyway, I just ordered the Kx from them, and I'm really looking forward to it.

Good luck with it. And come back and post some photos when you get a chance.

+1 for Amazon, I have purchased a lot of different items from them. And never once was the item used or not in new condition. And there return policy is second to none, especially for electronics.

Just be sure it is "SOLD" by and "Fulfilled By Amazon" That way you can be assured of it being new and USA warranty. There are others that sell through amazon, and I do not believe Amazon takes responsibility for other vendors.
