I think the value of 'Live View' in a dSLR is minimal at best, and the LCD display has a lot more uses than just making 'Live View' possible, so a more vulnerable LCD display jeopardizes all those other functions that I place a high value on.

I found the A450 to be big and bulky when i looked at getting one.
