Default Pentax K-X or Canon EOS T2i ?(Video Quality)

I want to purchase my first dslr camera which will probably be between the Pentax k-x or Canon T2i. I'm mostly interested in the the video quality, so i was wondering which has the best quality? After watching multiple videos i think the t2i is better (not sure though). I'll buy either camera bundled with the 18mm - 55m kit lens (don't plan on buying another lens). If the t2i does have better quality, is it worth the extra $200?

If you don't need full 1920x1080 HD, either one will do the job. The
Pentax does 1280x720 @ 24fps, the T2i can record 1920x1080 @ 30fps.

I would pay the extra for the T2i. Not just because of the bigger/better/faster
video, but for the external microphone socket.

For video the t2i is the better camera for that shoots full 1080HD. You can add an external mic also.

Actually I'm not interested in the 1080p. I prefer the 720p because it can shoot 60 fps.

You can set the T2i to shoot 720p and 60 fps.

OK. What I'm asking is, is there a noticable difference in quality between the cameras when recording in 720p?

The canon is better then the pentax in hd. That was something I notice between my T1i and my brother k-x.
