Thanks guys! I just ordered a 16GB Class 6 SD card by Transcend from Amazon. Seemed to get decent reviews. Hopefully it's good quality.

Now if I could just pull the trigger on which camera I want to get as easily as I did on buying that card. ;-)

I have a coupon and a gift certificate to Best Buy which has the S95 in stock locally and the price would be the same as Amazon with the coupon. I'm leaning toward that one right at the moment, but we'll see.

Thanks again for helping me narrow down my choices everybody!

transcend is a good card, just as good as sandisk, delkin, kingston, panasonic and laxar.

Btw, I can get the S90 for about $60 less... I'm not interested in the video capabilities whatsoever so the S95 shooting HD video isn't really a plus in my book. With that being said, should I go with the S90 or do you think I'll see better image quality with the S95? I've read some complaints about the wheel on the S90 as well as the shutter button so maybe the S95 is worth the extra dollars?

think the image quality will be very close between the 2 cameras, the s95 may have a slight lead on details with the bump up in mp over the s90. But it will be really hard press to notice it.

That's what I was thinking. I read something about it having some sort of hybrid image stabilization... I wonder if that really works better or if it's just a gimmick to sell more cameras. LOL

Btw, I think I just realized that the IS on these cameras stands for image stabilization. Is that correct?

Correct, it is image stabilization.

Kim-

Because you have no need for video, I would seriously consider the S-90, and save the money.

Well, I found what I consider a really good deal on the S95 so I snapped it up locally! It's dark right now and my "subject" is asleep but I might toy around with it once the battery is charged.

I figure if I decide this isn't quite what I need I can sell it on Ebay and then move up to the Pentax DSLR. Thanks again for all the advice!
