... as pancakes are likely to be. But the Sony E-Mount 18-200 is way bigger and way heavier than the A-Mount 18-200.

The NEX body is smaller and lighter and less expensive because there's no optical viewfinder, there's a smaller battery, and there's no sensor shift image stabilization. The 18-200 lens is bigger and heavier and more expensive because there's optical image stabilization.

no matter how you look at it, it is still a much smaller system. with the pancake it fits in a jacket pocket.

pancake is the short prime lenses, good for low light shooting and it makes the camera really compact.
