Looking at the Sigma 70-200 f2.8, There is an option for EX or no EX... (amazon sells it for 800 with no EX, and B&H sells it for 800 with EX.)

Apparently, sigma has two different finishes. One is the shiny black smooth finish and the other is a dull black/dark gray rougher finish.
I guess Sigma recently (within the past 2 months) changed their finish. I am confused. Which finish is the EX?

What i want is the smooth black shiny finish, NOT the dull gray-ish finish.

Can anyone decipher this? (or even understand my question)?

Thanks!

I got my camera and all the lens's (except the 70-200 f/2.8 which will arrive early next week)... I LOVE it. coming from a P&S, it has really surpassed my expectations. the 50mm f1/4 is my favorite lens right now. I love blowing out that background!

Something that i noticed that bothers me (and the only thing so far) is that when I set it for exposure bracketing, I cannot use the wireless remote or the timer! WTF?

50mm primes are a lot of fun, especually since you have to spend more $$ to replicate them with another lens.

Which brand did you go with? I guess you went with Pentax since you're not craiglisting anything.

The camera is brand new, so they are not out in the market yet.
