Default Life Proof Cameras

I was all set to ask Santa for a Pentax W90 then I read Steve's new review of the new Panasonic TS-10. What is a boy to do?????

I'd go with the Panasonic. Better IQ if we go based on past history and better IS system.

the olympus tough 8010 is the most rugged camera on the market, the image quality is a tad behind the sony TX5 and Panny TS10. The sony TX5 is another good options that is very life proof also.

Comparative reviews on Sony's rugged cam were not good. It wasn't able to sustain damage from falls. Now that you reminded me though, I have read reports of Panasonic's rugged cameras not being to withstand water submersion to their rated depths.
