I was going through the middleast Sony site and there is a Sony A- 560 as-well.It has a 14.6 mp Exmor CMOS sensor, prob the same as the one on the A-550.Is it better? and, How would U compare it to the K-r,D90,and T2i?

The A560 probably uses an updated sensor compared to the one in the A550.

Chances are, it's the same sensor used in the NEX-5. It's a very good sensor (although I suspect that the newer 16MP sensor is going to test better for noise levels and Dynamic Range, based on images I've looked at so far).

Sony was actually planning on releasing the A560 first in the U.S. But, decided to go with the A580 first instead. Rumor has it that demand was so high for the NEX-5 that Sony didn't have enough 14MP Sensors for both the A560 and NEX-5 models if they launched them in equivalent numbers in all markets. So, the A560 has been delayed in most markets (whereas the A580 is now shipping in many markets). But, that's mostly rumor, and only Sony knows for sure why they changed deployment plans.

I haven't seen enough images from the A560 yet to draw any conclusions. But, the NEX-5 is very good at higher ISO speeds compared to other cameras (and chances are, the A560 and NEX-5 use the same sensor). So, it should test favorably compared to the other models you're looking at.

But, I expect that the newer 16MP CMOS Sensor used in the A580 (and in other models like the Pentax K-5 and Sony A55) is going to outperform the latest Sony 14MP Sensor (probably by around 1/2 stop or so).

3) Sony A560,

I'd rank the Sony A580 over the T2i. It would give you fast Autofocus Live View with a tilting LCD, a new 16MP sensor design that has lower noise compared to the T2i from what I can tell viewing photos from it, nifty features like Sweep Panorama, Auto HDR and more.

But, I'd probably lean towards the Sony models anyway, since I shoot with a Sony A700. I'd try them in a store to see what you think, as each user will have different preferences in a camera (size, weight, ergonomics, features, etc.).

i am a big advocate for the Pentax K-r personally. Very easy to use, great at high ISO, 6 fps shooting, good lens choices, intuitive controls, super sharp 3" lcd.

It is the camera that i use right now. I think i have used the flash maybe 3 times. I just dont need it as much as other cameras would, especially with the pentax 50mm 1.4.

6 fps is great for sports and animals.

the K-r is pretty cheap comparatively.

$899 for the body + 18-55 + 55-300

well considering this thread was started almost a month ago, you should just take the plunge with one of them and you can always return it in 30 days (usually).
