Default Simple P&S for daughter

Hello
I am looking for a recommendation for a simple P&S for my 21 year old daughter. Her only request is that she would like a fast flash recycling time. She also like a small size if possible.

She mainly uses her camera for multipurpose use..friend shots, family shots and scenery shots.

Thanks
Warren

You could try checking Amazon Warehouse deals --they are open-box/customer return items but another forum member here has picked up a couple of good-as-new ZS7 at deep discount this way. This is a camera that seems to be very popular and well reviewed here. It's especially good for outdoors pictures.

Anyway here's a link for Amazon Warehouse http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=...qid=1290564358

I think I am going to get a Canon PowerShot A3100 IS or the SD1300 IS. She currently has a Nikon 4600 Coolpix.

Now for the decision.
Thanks

Definitely not choices I would make, even at that price point, but good luck.
