Default E-PL1 or E-P2?

Hello:

I've read many favorable comments here regarding the Olympus E-PL1, and am considering taking the plunge. However, amazon.com has the E-P2 heavily discounted right now, only $63 more than the E-PL1.

Which one would you buy? BTW, I'm also considering the NEX-5 and the Nikon D3100.

Thanks for any advice!

In my opinion, the Olympus EPL1 is the much more desirable and useful of the two. Use the money saved, and put it toward the VF-2 EVF viewfinder.

Thanks, Sarah!

Any thoughts about E-PL1 vs. the NEX-5 or the Nikon D3100? Which do you feel has the best IQ?

The Sony NEX cameras have a very radically different menu system that most users dislike rather heartily. I purchased the NEX-5 and then returned it, as everything has to be done through the menu, and the menu is terrible.

The Nikon D3100 would be very close to the EPL1 in IQ, but Oly has the advantage due to their really excellent .jpeg engine. Other than the better JPEG IQ on the EPL1, the difference is really physical camera size.
