I recieved the HX1 on Monday and took these shots on Tuesday. I picked this series of 5 to show the main features: panorama, zoom, burst, and twilight. After just a couple of days I am very happy. The video turned out nice also when I played it on the 42" plasma. Other than the B&W shot the only post production done was a little bit of cropping. All the colors, brightness, sharpness etc. are straight from the camera.

I've had my SX30IS for a few weeks. I like taking shots of the bird feeder at the back of my yard. I would guess it is 50-60 feet from my back door, where I shoot from.
