Default yet again D3100 or T2i?

So yeah first dslr.. i was going to buy some bridge camera or micro four third but then decided to drop some extra $ and get the real deal.

is t2i better in low light with high iso? does it shoot better video? if so i dont mind dropping extra 200 on it. Is it good investment? i heard it has better built quality than d3100, does it?

Yeah i'm going to do a lot of photo and video..

and HAPPY NEW YEAR

I can only speak of the T2i/550d it is a fine camera. But as always you are buying into a system check on the compatibility of lenses etc try both out. Good luck

The T2i is a fine camera. But the D3100 is newer and sometimes that kind of situation can result in a new entry-level camera besting the slightly older mid-level camera under certain circumstances.

As for high ISO and image quality, check out this link and select those two cameras from the drop-down menus. You can even click on the images to view them at 100 percent.
