There is another possbile solution.....

Buy a Panasonic GH1 or GH2 body. Your LV and AF while using HD video problems disappear, it's cool tech AND you can use ALL of your Pentax lenses viw an adapter!!!!
And this adapter supports AF?

Why did I not come across this before...?

I smell lots of reading coming my way...

no the pentax adapters on m4/3 do not support AF or aperture control if it does not have an aperture ring.

Ah....I figured I would have already found that out as new-tech.

I think I am going to most likely stick where I am. I have a bag full of new lenses...and while I would consider jumping ship, the jump is an expensive jump.

i was considering...i really like the Kx...and I assume I would like the K5 even more. My only reserve is the HD video recording AF.

Well the k-5 has the new AF system like the K-r which is better then the K-x. I have not shoot HD with k-5, but I would wager to guess that it is a bit improve as well.

No adapter supports AF, but there are some that support aperture control, even if it doesn't have an aperture ring.

I would definitely not dismiss the K-5 as a possibility since you already have all those lenses. Check this out:

Pretty impressive.
