Default EOS-1D Mark II

Hello, I was planning to buy a used EOS-1D Mark II from a local seller. The camera looks new to me. But since this is used and I am not sure how the previous owner treated it. My question is can I take it to canon factory service center and have them check if the camera is good or need to be repaired in some way like the cmos ? Does anyone know if that will cost a lot to have canon re-service the used camera?

Canon is likely to charge for them to check it out and the additional charges for anything that is needed.

2nd hand is always hard to know how to deal with and depending on your needs might or might not be a good way to go.

Not got a clue, I would grab the phone and call them in your region.

As long as the seller provides you with some kind of guarantee (or warrantee if that's your bag) then you may not need to worry.
