Default I really need a help here

I am looking for a camera that features of the following:

1. Fast and quick that will capture kids movements
2. Print dates on the pictures (will print automatically)
3. Atleast 15 x zoom or higher
4. Produce good, clear image
5. Budget $ 600

Please share your thoughts and knowledge. I have been searching for a long time. I like to have a camera that will put the dates automatically on the pictures.

PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE.

Fayyaz-

The problem is that none of the cameras you have listed are capable of printing the date on the photo.

The only camera I can think of that fills those requirements is the Kodak Z1015 if you can find one. Putting the date on the face of the photo is the real problem.

There aren't a lot of cameras that offer that these days as most people don't want the date on their photos. The place you get them printed at can often do it for you (using the date from the EXIF tag) or you can easily do it yourself.

This tutorial takes only a few minutes (once) and then it's pretty 1-click in the future.

There is also software that allows you to imprint the date on photos in post processing. In reality, the date imprint typically doesn't look good. Another option is to tag the date in the file name, which can also be done in post.

The Canon SX30 does have Datestamp.

as shown here: http://support-sg.canon-asia.com/con...200910900.html

The Panasonic FZ100 has "Text Stamp - Add shooting date, Age, Travel Date or Title to an image"

The Panasonic is alot faster than the canon.

Both the Canon SX30 & Panasonic FZ100 have Date Stamping.

But since you need a fast camera i would take the Pana over the Canon.

If you require the date & time on your photos, the Canon S95 also has this capability....my bad,
Re-read your requirements..it does not have a 15X zoom. Sorry
