Default which one?

i am asking this for a friend who is in the market for a new camera. She is wanting 10x zoom min and decent indoor pics. She has narrowed it down to these 4: Samsung WB600 (15 times zoom) , Fuji F300 (15 times zoom), Sony HX5 (10 times zoom) and Canon SD4500 ( 10 times zoom). From what i have read i think the canon has had the best reviews, so out of all of them listed which is the best then out of the 15X zoom and then 10x zoom, just to give her a idea to narrow down between the 10 and 15 zoom. thanks everyone for any imput on this.

The Samsung and the Fuji are below the SX130 in image quality, by a measurable margin. IMHO the SD4500, while a good variant of the SD4000, but lacks the fast F 2.0 lens and is overpriced and is crippled by using a very small battery.

In a nutshell: the F300 will begin to show measurable noise at ISO 400. The F500 can go to ISO 800 before showing measurable noise.

That all depends on if you want GPS, which is only available on the F550. Both have 460K LCD screens.

ya i don't need gps at all, so i will opt for the F500, so what other camera would compare to the F500/550
