Default FZ 35 or FZ100

I have enough points from work to get either FZ 35 or FZ 100. I've researched both and am leaning towards FZ 100.......thoughts? The camera will not cost me any $$
Thanks
Henry

Henry-

This is just by personal opinion. If you begin to look closely at the reviews the FZ 40 and Fz35 have much better reviews than the FZ100. I faced the same decision in late December. After a lot of concentrated research, I purchased the FZ40 instead of the FZ100.

The FZ100 is measurably ISO limited. It is best shot at ISO 200 and below. ISO 400 is only useful for small 4" X 6" prints.

I have attached a photo sample from my FZ40.

I chose the FZ40 over the FZ100 as well, primarily for the differences in fine detail such as hair, in which case the FZ40 did a bit better. The FZ35 was a little better than the FZ40 but the differences in detail were small and the FZ40 offers better color rendition imho.

The FZ100 packs more pixels onto the same size imaging sensor as the FZ35.
I went with the FZ35.

You can't beat the FZ35 for the price and performance at $215.

Sarah, I just found out I can actually order the FZ40, so I'm opting for that over the FZ35. Thanks again for your advice
Best,
Henry
