Default canon or sony or other point n shoot

Hey thanks for all the support. I am asking. Here, what is the best (does not exist) overall point n shoot cam. I read sony has panaramic 3d and other stuff, while canon miniture and other stuff.

Are ther cams that do both what sony and canon offer?

Want a compact cam with excellent low level, stereo mic hd 1080, all the effects imaginabe, and long batt life.

Would one point me to some models

Of the sony, canon, and other.

Thanks for all the help

first off, there is no single "best" camera since everyone has their own preferences.

second, i've never heard of a compact camera with excellent iq, much less excellent low light. you'll probably have to find a compromise between size and iq.

look at the olympus XZ1 you will be able to add the pen's stereo mic to the camera, and have it off the body so it does not pick up any of the camera noises. The the LX5 can do the same with there GF accessories, just no external stereo mic options as it is not available. They will give you the best low light for a compact pns camera, with the best IQ you can get with a point and shoot.
