Default Which camera should I buy? Panasonic DMC-ZS6K (manufacturer refurbished) one is ok?

Hello,

I'm willing to buy a digital camera which will use mainly for picnics and day to day activities. Specially I need more zooming with video recording (with zoom).
I saw advertisement about Panasonic DMC-ZS6K (manufacturer refurbished) camera at lower price (160 US$).

Unfortunately I couldn't find more details about this model from the internet. So I decided to get help from you.

1.Can you recommend this camera?

2. This is manufacturer refurbished model. How its going to effect for user?

3. Are there any camera you recommending me.Please let me know.

My pocket camera is a ZS6.
I have had it for about a year. And have no complaints at all.

I also buy factory refurbished item all the time to save $$. All of them have come with a full warranty. Just like a new item. Not to mention the item you will be buying has been repaired and tested.

Hi,

I brought DMC-ZS6 last week. I've noticed that sometime image quality get bit worst when taking photograph with optical zoom.
Is this expected behavior with optical zoom?
Or my camera is malfunctioning?
All the time I used intelligent Auto mode to take photos. What will be the good mode to take scenaries?

Thanks

in what was does the image quality get worse? could it be that as you zoom out, your hands aren't steady enough for completely clean shots? if so, speeding up the shutter should help.
