It is a find general photography camera. It will capture allot of great images.

Hi There. I'm a little surprised no-one has mentioned the Lumix G3. I saw this ad:

(and please I am not promoting Panasonic products, it's just that upon seeing this, I thought the LG3 looked an ace camera!). And on the strength of that and a friend's recommendation, I bought the G3. Haven't yet fully put it through its paces, but it seems to ticvk all the boxes for me.

Anyway, good luck in your search!

He already bought Nikon D7000 a week ago.

well lumix is a Micro Four Third system not dSLR
