Default What camera should my sister buy!??

My sister is a new grandmother, and she keeps sending me pics of her beautiful granddaughter which were taken with her old crackberry. The pics are AWFUL, and I have told her so. She thinks a camera is a camera is a camera. (I am guessing she has not looked at her photos except on her little crackberry screen, so I just sent her the photos so she can see on her PC.)

Is there ANY point and shoot under $150 that is worth buying?
Can se get anything worth anything at $100?

I'd like her to have some video capabilities, and also be able to take snaps of a kid (who, probably, will be moving)

Thoughts?

(I've always thought a good way to organize forums like this is, "best camera at $100" "best camera at $200" etc., as so many people shop based on price point not based on specifications)

you can brose cameras by price - here's steve's shop by prices section from last xmas: http://www.steves-digicams.com/best-cameras.html

i have a kodak z915. when i bought it, it was $99 - they seem to be phasing them out so the price has gone way up. that being said, there seem to be a few highly rated sellers on ebay that have the camera for a good price who are worth checking out. btw, it has pretty good quality video, 10x zoom, auto and full PASM, pic quality isn't great but it's good.

here are some pics from my z915

btw, i'm at amazon checking digital cameras that are between $80 and $175, rated 4 stars or over that are available via either prime or free super saver shipping, and there are actually a bunch that are stabilized and do video.
