Default fujifilm s4000 or nikon l120

hello I need some help deciding what camera should I buy,the fuji s4000 or nikon l120,my budget is 300dlls.
i really don't care about the zoom, what I am looking for is fast shutter and image quality.
I am trying to take pictures of my 2 year old baby and she moves to fast .
I checked them at best buy and the fuji takes more time processing the info (black screen) un auto mode.
by the way I really can not affort the slr route..

I picked up a Canon L110 for my Mom because she liked the size and was able to hold it. The L110 and the L120 etc., take a series of 10 images when you press the shutter. It then sorts through the 10 images and selects the best one as the image you have taken. I would think that your daughter in motion would defeat this process to some degree.

I would down read some additional reviews of both cameras to dig out how they work with respect to your particular needs.....
