Default 150-200 Pounds Camera

Hi all,

I have to guide someone in getting a camera from UK. I was on amazon.co.uk and in this price there are a LOT of superzoom bridges by Fujifilm (s class) and compact large zooms (HX5 for example)

I wanted some guidance with the fujifilm especially

G'day xH

With the HS10 being a damn good camera and recently superceded, I would go chasing one of them ~ prices would be 'as you find them'

Regards, Phil

That overshoots the price bracket OT.... I filtered it down to these two that fall in the bracket.

And I needed something of a guidance in this regard. Thanks

If you want a new superzoom in the sub-200 price range. One of the
Fujifilm bridge cameras is probably the best option. Unfortunately, the
big favourites like the Fuji HS10/20 and Panasonic FZ series are just
outside your price range.

The Fuji S7130 (110) up to the S4000 (200) are in your price range.
These prices are from Argos UK.

There are a good few compact cameras in this price range.
The Panasonic TZ8 is worth a look. Also some of the Fujifilm
compacts. The F70 EXR is arguably better than the later F80 EXR.
F200 or maybe the F500 and F550 will be reduced in price now that
the F600 has been announced.

The best choice will depend on what kind of shooting it will
be used for. Another factor to consider is whether the user will
want to have full manual control. A lot of the newer cameras
are auto only.

Thanks a mil CP mate. It was a pretty confusing thing to be sitting with THIS many choices :S

And as for that yes I have already given her this simplicity vs. manual controls debate so that gladly is not my job to decide.

Thanks a mil again
