Default Nikon Coolpix P100

Hi all,
I was thinking to buy a superzoom camera and a few days back my colleague gave me an offer to buy his 1 year old Nikon Coolpix P100 for Rs 14000($286). Hows the camera? Those who have used and explored it please give me a detailed review of the camera, the pros and the cons. Is it worth buying a one year old nikon P100 for $286? Please help me..

Thanking You
Jaison

And please tell me how do you people rate Nikon P100 when compared to a nikon L120 and Canon SX30IS. Is the image quality of Nikon P100 comparable to Canon SX30IS? And is it better than Nikon L120?

Here's a direct comparison between the SX30 and the P100..

The L120 is primarily a "point and shoot" affair, with nothing like the versatility of the P100.
Here's a quick look at the L120
