with a flash the epl1 or epl2 if you do not want to spend to much. If you have a big wallet, the ep3.

what are you looking for in a lens?

I like the em1 but I prefer having an on board flash. That is why I do not recommend cameras without a flash. While the inboard flash are not great they give you the ability to take a decent shot indoors at parties and stuff when you are not expecting. Also it gives you the abilities to go wireless flash with the evf if you want to explore off camera flash photography. With the epl3 and em1 you need to mount a flash to do all that.

The bundle flash work, as long as you have it with you. Also you can not shoot with a evf like the vf2 or vf3 and use the flash. Which is really helpful in macro.

But all othere aspects of those camera are excellent. Very fast af, better subject focus track like the ep3.

But at the end of the day, the pens are not my action shooting camera. So super fast af is not a priority for me in my travel camera.

The EPL1 is cheap, $300 new and $200 refurbished (Sears.com). The EPL2 is slightly faster and has a better and higher resolution LCD screen. A brighter LCD screen enables you to see what you are looking at under strong daylight. I would recommend the EPL2 over the EPL1 if cost is not a factor.
