Default When considering a Canon t3i, watch this music video filmed with one

This isn't a post to promo the video, but rather to share it with others who are considering the merits of a Canon DSLR - particularly the Rebel t3i.

I am a new videographer - and I wasnt sure what results I would get from the T3i, but the end result was an amazingly cinematic look & feel. My only regret about this video is I didn't use enough lighting in some parts - but that certainly isn't the camera's fault.

Filmed entirely with a Canon T3i - and stock lens / 50mm 1.4. Let me know what you think.

Great job... and the choice of a good prime lens worked a treat...

Thanks, Simon. I need to get a follow focus and a better stabilizer for the next one ... but I thought this was solid for the low budget I had.

Curiously- the focus issues kinda added to the "fly on the wall" viewpoint...
A stabilizer would certainly help- but if you're sticking with prime lenses manual focus might be the better option... taking total control...

I really like the bokeh effect - but its harder to keep good focus. I am still learning ... getting better. Am shooting a new video and will be using a better stabilizer - and I am trying a follow focus this time.
